Didn’t beat Preview

I bought this to compress a 50 page, photo heavy 11mB file to get down below 10mB to email. Well it did not better than Preview compression. After I bought it I tried the help function. It says:

"Like all other PDF compression tools PDF Squeezer does not reduce the size of PDF files that have already been compressed."

Why doesn’t it say that BEFORE I buy it? Preview does the same thing. I would like a refund but I do not think I can do that.
