Works okay, a bit buggy

The dropdown menu occasionally does not work, not letting me select resizing options... Some PDF files it is not able to compress — I have screenshots to prove it, if anyone wants them just PM me. “size reduced by 0%” — “Could not decrease file size using this filter” EDIT: also, occasional crashing! ————— Process: PDF Squeezer [1122] Path: /Applications/PDF Squeezer.app/Contents/MacOS/PDF Squeezer Identifier: com.mac-attender.PDF-Squeezer Version: 3.6.1 (56) App Item ID: 504700302 App External ID: 818995247 Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: ??? Perfect!

Love this app! Does exactly what it says it does and does it better than anything else. One of my must-have apps.

No compresssion on any of my files

Not sure what this product is supposed to do but I scanned in a file from my snap scan at 1200 dpi and got an 82 meg file, attempted a reduction in file size with this product, reduction amount zero, as was the case with every file I tried. Not sure what alien world the pdf exists that this product compresses but it is not any of mine. They really need to provide more info about what this product does or does not do before baitng you into a purchase with glowing reviews.

Better online tools are available for free

Save your money. The compression rates are disappointing. Free online tools do a much better job.

Great!

Reduced my 7.5MB PDF of my college transcripts to 1.1MB without any noticeable loss of quality. Time from downloading the app to uploading the reduced-size PDF to a grad application was about 60 seconds.

Compression no better than Preview/Export/Quartz Filter/Reduce File Size

Before you purchase this, try compression using Apple/Preview/Export/Quart Filter/Reduce File Size. This feature in Mac’s Preview compresses by the same percentage as PDF Squeezer in my experience so appears to have been a waste of money. Trying to figure out how to get a refund.

96% of reduction

Simply great.

perfect

Easy, effcient and quick !

Simple and efficient

This application is worth the money invested, it’s much easier for me to scan without checking the configuration and adjust, if needed, using this app, the size of the document to send it to someone else. All the applications should be as simple and efficient as this one, thanks for this !

Funciona perfeitamente! It works perfectly!

Recomendo!!! I DO recommend!!!

Nice App

Does its job, looks nice, well done.

Just doesnt work

All files I attempted to use with this application spat out files exactly the same size as the original no matter what preset was used.

Great and affordable App, works exactly as advertised

Very nice GUI allows for easy workflow: First experimenting with quality settings and the resulting decrease in file size. Then previewing the outcome right away in the same app before saving it with a alternate name. But of course this can and will not work with PDFs which were already compressed or not containing any pictures!

Works very well - highly recommended

At first, I had some doubts that it would works fine for a 2$ app, but Im very impressed. Very good app, simple to use, high quality, and the result is very good. I tried with many PDF files, and PDF Squeezer reduced the file size a lot, while keeping a good overall quality (it depends on the settings you choose).

Works Exactly as Advertized!

Amazing! Just what I need to deal with a monthly staff newsletter containing multiple thumbnail headshots. File size went from 32.62MB to 2.56MB (92% reduction) using "600dpi average" and I ended up with better images than original! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

A perfect little app - love at first sight!

Simple easy-to-use and cheap. I had just made a cumbersome pdf document that I HAD to send out. I looked around and finally stumbled on this little beauty. I dont have TONS of PDF work to do so I didnt need every bell and whistle. Normally whenever I get an obscure app I have to worry about how to use it. This thing just opened up and showed a little display reading place Pdf here. I did. And it brought a 32 meg pdf down to an emailable 1.2. I love it so much Im putting it in my Mac Air toolbar. Im going to use this every time I save a script as a pdf. I love it!

Squeezes every inch of fat out of PDFs

This app is exactly what I was looking for. I had pdfs in the 48MB range and it squeezed it down to 5MB and the quality was still acceptable. I use this with PDF Nomad which is a great Mac PDF editor.

Thank you

Hours of struggling to find out how to reduce size. Found this app, Done. Thank you so much

Simple and effective

This is much easier than defining a Quartz profile to reduce image files… My only complaint is that I would have like more control on the image quality/resolution, but the defaults are certainly good for most cases!

great program - does exactly what you want it to

Very simple (but useful) app for reducing the size of PDFs.
