PDF Squeezer 3 App Reviews

I’ve been trying to upload some large files to free PDF compression sites all night. It’s been so frustrating! I tried compressing the files with the Quartz filter on Preview, but the results were horrible. It lost way too much quality and was barely legible! So I figured that I’d try this—couldn’t hurt. I in less than 5 minutes I compress the 3 files that I’ve been struggling with all evening! I’m in love! The quality is SO much better than the Preview method! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This worked better for me than Preview in compressing my PDF from 19mb to 7mb. I still expected it to compress even lower, especially since the 7mb is only slightly lower than the 8mb PPTX file that I originally started with. Not sure why this Mac PowerPoint file is so hard to compress in PDF format, but perhaps it’s all of the photos I have in it. Regardless, I was pleased with the few dollars this app cost to get me what I needed for an important document I had to email.

I had two large, scanned documents (PDF), received from a customer (signed legal docs). Their sizes were 19.9 MB and 10.1 MB. Just through simple drag and drop, using the default settings, as is, I was able to reduce the two PDF’s down to 4.1 MB and 1.9 MB, respectively. It was so easy, I was astonished! Five enthusiastic stars!!!!!

It does reduce the size of the file but it also crops the right side of the document cutting off some of the text. Makes it unuseable until this is fixed.

This is a great little app. I spent the better part of a morning looking uploading my documents to various sites and getting horrific results. And the Preview app reduced my PDFs to an unreadable ugly blob! This was well worth the money (less than a coffee at *insert chain name here*). It did exactly what I needed it to do. Keep it up!

I wasn’t expecting much from this App for the cheap price, so I was VERY pleasantly surprised to find that it works perfectly. It compresses my real estate flyers, which are typicalyl 12mb, down to 0.5mb - that is a 96% reduction. This now allows me to upload my flyers to various websites, including our MetroList Real Estate site. It is so simple to use and absolutley foolproof -I have now stopped using Adobe Acrobat Professionall for flyer production and document merging, and use this program and PDF Expert instead, My big beef with PDF Expert is that is does not contain a Compression routine, so that is why PDF Squeezer is required.

Reduced from 1.6MB to 330KB with correct coloring. Impressive. Have not tried large file size yet.

I bought this app because I was in a pinch with a large .pdf file and needed to shrink it for email. The “drag and drop” interface allowed me to compress at 96% and the document was still legible with signatures etc. I highly recommend this app!
