Hey everybody, I just bought this product and try it and I will not be exaggerating if I say it is the perfect product that you can ever use in reducing your PDF files. It reudced my file from almost 20 MB to roughly just 1 MB.

I had to submit a business plan to a contest. Maximum size allowed : 6Mo. My file 10.8Mo. Only format accepted .Doc, .Xls, .xlsx, .pdf … With .zip (a refused format) I obtain a compression to 8Mo. My document was built with physically scanned document. By selecting the right output quality, I was able to compress to 3.5Mo !!! in few seconds and in .pdf format … GREAT !!!! You made (save) my day !

Incredibly nice and easy to use … took a 4.3 MB PDF down to 853 MB with two clicks of a button, exactly what I needed. I recommend.

When converting a PDF from MS Word with watermarks in the background go black and hyperlinks don’t work when placed online embedded into a website. It adds an exclamation mark at the end of the URL so the link is broken. Fix?

Would be nice if it would apply compression to text as well as images. not much use for large text pdfs.

What is the point of this App, except to waste a users time and money? I bought and tried this App with a variety of PDF files and styles (10+) and only 1 file was reduced by 30%. It simply does not do what it promises. Read the fine print on the company’s support page and then look elsewhere for a solution and save your hard earned money. Feeling ripped off. Buyer beware.

It reduced a 20mb file down to 4mb. Still quite readable, no loss of quality. Highly recommended.

I have this app for more than a year and it works like a charm. I had a pdf of over 750 mb (scan doc) and the size was reduce to 50 mb. I highly recommand this app

I bought this one as well as a few more, they probably work for some poeple with small files but NOT for me. They probably have the same programing desing and DO NOT compresse my files at ALL….

This product has bailed me out so many times when sending massive bulky scans, or pdf files I have generated. I am extremely grateful for the utility it provides! I would recommend it to anyone who owns a mac and may use, save or email pdf documents.

Some PDFs, big and small, were not scrolling well in Preview.app (very choppy/ judder). This makes scrolling smooth without loosing their readability.

PDF Squeezer is reliable, easy to use, and one of the programs I depend upon most for my Mac. It quickly reduces the filesize of scanned documents and doesn’t put a load on my computer. Simply a great app.

I’ve tried other options for reducing the size of PDFs, but they have always one or both of these problems: they INSIST on reducing everything to 8.5” x 11” or they are sloppily reductive, with pixellated pages. This sweet little program is fast and excellent. I reduced a 300+ MB book file to a 3.6 MB (72 dpi) demo file in seconds, and the results were very satisfactory. The higher-res file (150 dpi) is good enough to be saleable.

Every time I launched the app and tried to use it, it would unexpectadly quit with no explanation. I was never able to use the app - waste of money!

I have a number of PDF files in 1200dpi quality. I bought this software hoping it will help to reduce the quality of those files for on-screen viewing. However, I tried all the settings, e.g. "150 dpi - average - grayscale", the file size was reduced only by 0.22%. The output file is still 1200dpi. This software doesnt work according to what it says.

Great for all. If you need to store pdfs on your mobile device - even more important to hve it. Can save a lot of space - but quality remains (almost) no changed :-) Recomand to all .

Simple, fast and effective. You have full control of how much to squeeze the original doc, and have a preview of the squeezed copy to check the result quality before saving. Never send again a 10MB single page scanned document to my business consultant ! I give 5 stars with no doubt

This is a simple app that compresses PDFs (not rocket science—and not debatable as some 1 star reviewers have claimed) and does it w/ a succinctly purposeful interface which provides an enjoyable user experience (i.e. easy to use). Sometimes PDFs are as small as they can be so this tool, or any PDF shrinking tool, will not reduce the size of the file because theres no smaller size to go to. But most files, especially scanned documents get greatly reduced. Buy the app.
